TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

By booking, you imply acceptance of the following general conditions.

Bookings and payments:

The guest is responsible for the veracity of the information provided.

Bookings are not accepted from guests under the age of 21.

The booking is only validated once the 30 per cent deposit has been paid within 24 hours.

Upon receipt of the initial payment, the client will receive confirmation of the booking and a link to fill in a form where all the guests making up the booking must be duly identified (babies, children and adults). The details of all foreign guests will be sent to the SEF (Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service).

Only the guests mentioned in the booking are allowed in the accommodation. The person responsible for the booking must sign the booking agreement at check-in and will be responsible for the rest of the guests, particularly as regards compliance with the rules of the accommodation.

The remainder of the reservation will be charged on the day of check-in, or if the guest arrives outside office opening hours will be charged 24 hours before check-in.

Cancellations:

In the event of cancellation, the following policy will apply:

- If the cancellation is made more than 4 weeks before the check-in date, there will be a penalty of €25.00 of the rental.

- If the cancellation is made between 15 days and 4 weeks before the check-in date, there will be a penalty of 50 % of the prepaid rent.

- If the cancellation is made less than 15 days before the check-in date, there will be a penalty of 100 per cent of the pre-paid rental fee.

In the event of a no-show, the holidaymaker will lose 100 per cent of the pre-paid rental fee.

Any cancellations must be notified by email.

-         We suggest that guests take out travel insurance to avoid possible losses.

Check-in / Check-out:

Check-ins take place from 4pm and check-outs until 11am.

If you leave after 11am, Algarve Manta reserves the right to withhold 50€ from your security deposit. (Algarve Manta thanks all customers for their understanding, these times are necessary to prepare the house for the next customer.)

Check-in between 7pm and 9pm has an additional cost of €25.

Check-in between 9pm and 8am has an additional cost of 50€.

If you check out earlier than planned, Algarve Manta will not refund the money paid for your stay.

Security deposit:

A security deposit of 200 euros will be requested, pre-authorised on the credit card 72 hours before check-in.

If the deposit is not accepted by the guest, Algarve Manta will not accept the client's entry.

The pre-authorisation automatically expires 3 days after check-out.

The security deposit will only be charged in the event of damage to the accommodation caused by guests.

Pets:

Pets are not allowed in our accommodation, if pets are found in the accommodation or traces of animals Algarve Manta reserves the right to withhold €200 from your deposit to cover the costs of sanitising the accommodation.

Rules for using the accommodation:

The house is cleaned on entry and exit. There is no cleaning during your stay.

If you leave dirty dishes, leave rubbish in the house or don't close your awnings, €50 will be withheld from your deposit.

Customers are entirely responsible for the proper use of all the equipment, furniture, utensils and all the rest of the accommodation. Moving furniture is strictly forbidden.

Sheets and towels are provided for responsible use and may not be used for any other purpose. It is strictly forbidden to take them out of the accommodation. Bath towels may not be used in the pool or on the beach.

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the accommodation. However, it is possible to smoke in outdoor areas such as balconies or terraces.

Each house and apartment has an occupancy limit. You must inform Algarve Manta of the number of people staying in the house. If more people are found than allowed, you will be charged €100 per person per extra day in the accommodation.

Guests are responsible for the use of the keys to the accommodation, and for their own safety should not give them to anyone other than the person making the booking.

If the guest loses the key or forgets it inside the accommodation, and we are called to resolve the situation, the client will incur a cost for this service which will be:

Weekdays - from 9.30am to 6pm - €15 - from 6pm to 11pm - €50 - from 11pm to 9.30am - €80

Weekends and public holidays - until 8pm - 50€ after 8pm - 100€

In the event that a technician has to be called to open the door, the customer is also responsible for this cost.

*Note: in the vast majority of locks, if the key is forgotten inside, it will be impossible to open the door, even with a copy of the key.

Complaints

All complaints should be reported immediately to the Algarve Manta office in order to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
